We had a wonderful stay at a B&B by the lake. Unfortunately, we couldn't get a lake view room, but the location was excellent, close to the center and restaurants. The breakfast was generous and varied, and the English hosts were welcoming. We even met them at a nearby restaurant recommended by them. The traffic on the road was heavy during the day but didn't cause any noise issues at night. we had a great time and would recommend this place to others.

The view from our room was mind-blowing, overlooking the serene lake. We had a blast exploring the nearby Forest of Huelgoat, going on long walks and feeling like real adventurers. And oh boy, the cycling around here was insane! We raced through the scenic trails and felt the thrill of the wind in our hair. The highlight was definitely fishing by the lake, catching our own dinner like true champs!
If I had to pick one thing, it would've been awesome to have some wild nightlife nearby for us young party-goers. Don't get me wrong, we loved the peaceful vibe, but a bit more excitement in the evenings would've been the cherry on top.

The location of the hotel is ideal, with beautiful views of the lake from the courtyard. the rooms were comfortable and clean, decorated to a high standard. Guests were welcomed with fresh fruit and delicious brown bread, and the breakfast was wonderful. the owners were friendly and helpful, providing excellent support and information.
The lack of a restaurant or dining options on-site may be inconvenient for a convenient meal option.

I had a fantastic stay at this lakeside B&B. The location was excellent, with the lake and town center just a short walk away. The breakfast provided was generous and varied, and the English hosts were incredibly welcoming. The Lake View room was beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a superb bathroom. The garden by the lake was large and relaxing, and the home cooked dinner from Sue was a must-try, especially the Thai meal. The atmosphere of the nearby Huelgoat forest was also impressive. The couple who owned the B&B and their French bulldog were very welcoming and made me feel at home.
Nothing to dislike.

The Lakeside accommodation offers excellent meals, with a delicious breakfast and an enjoyable evening meal in the company of convivial Australian guests. the owners, Mick and Sue, go above and beyond to provide exceptional service, including accommodating the needs of disabled guests by installing an additional handrail upon request. the location is surrounded by beautiful side roads and tracks that lead to interesting places, such as the stunning stream with large boulders near Arthurs Grotte, which is accessible for all to enjoy. the warm welcome and assistance provided by the owners, including helpful advice, tea, bike repairs, and restaurant recommendations, make for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. the comfortable beds ensure a peaceful night's sleep and the beautiful view of the lake from the terrace adds to the overall experience. Parking is convenient, right in front of the accommodation, making it easy for guests to access.
Felt quite safe, no complaints at all.

We had a blast exploring the Forest of Huelgoat, going on adventurous hikes, and cycling through the picturesque countryside. Plus, the fishing at the nearby lake was off the hook! The location was perfect for us young, party-going people looking for some adrenaline-pumping activities. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation!
That there weren't any late-night party spots nearby. It would have been awesome if there were some lively clubs or bars where we could have danced the night away.
